First I am going to start by saying, oops. I meant to edit the previous post about installing PicLens but I deleted it instead.

Currently I am working on making the website load up a little faster and look a little more stream line here and there. This includes removing PicLens and SnapShots till I accomplish at least a certain level of speed increase. The other improvement is going to be remove certain items, Live Video, YouTube, and maybe Flickr Pictures to boost the load time of the home page. Though I think the option to view them should still be open as I do update my YouTube and Flickr often when I have time. As for my Live Video you can be certain I will move that to its own tab. On the way I am going to clean up some of the messy code I used while fooling around when I first installed Wordpress.

For a side note, I am crazy right now and I feel like I really need a bar of dark chocolate!

I’ve been searching of ways to improve my website and start to bring in some steady traffic. While my podcasts have been doing okay to bring in some people to the website, one thing alone has brought in the most traffic. My post yesterday Threats and Stuff sent a spike in my hit counter. Apparently it made its way a little farther then I thought, and I was amused by this considering how trivial it really was. Though I do respond more aggressively when I am contacted privately and threatened but instead I was tickled by its lack of thought and out right rashness. Not that I wish it to happen again, but I am rather pleased something like that served me some good in the end.

Plus despite the threats to the podcasts they will continue, I will be working of recording one today on the topic of Stealth Games. I have mixed feelings on them so I am sure to offend someone so please listen ^.^

Good news is so far the features out number the bugs. I am pretty happy with Wordpress. I don’t think I will be goofing around with Drupal anymore unless I am doing a website that is much more than just a blog. One of the bugs that has been bugging me is the time seems to be off on my website by an hour for some reason. I am going to drop a line to my service provider and see if that have any idea.

I’ve had little time to play games this week, I want to get some more AoC in before the weekend, but being responsible is taking up my time. That and I have a killer pressure headache due to the storm that zoomed by where I live. Yes I am a living barometer, it sucks sometimes, but I am better now.

Oh and if you’ve played Bioshock you have to check this video out. It is so weird!
