Finally some awesome Wii and Punch-Out news! On my blog I was actually talking about playing the original NES Punch-Out then this gets announced on the same day! Left 4 Dead Demo Coming

This is one of those games that wouldn’t need a demo in my opinion. Over at Valve I guess they think otherwise, and I am glad! On November 18 we will see a demo coming to the PC and 360. This will give me the extra power I need to convince my friends to buy this game!

Anymore we don’t often see demos which is a crying shame. I understand the reason for the reduction in demos. I am still going to argue against it though, cause if your game is REALLY GOOD, you can release a demo of it, make it work somehow. Even Metal Gear Solid had a demo and that sold me on the game. Just give me a taste, don’t give me a complete game, just give me one chip out of your bag tell me to buy the bag of chips.

DRM Killing Me Slowly

I am very pissed off with a lot of other gamers about DRM. To the point it is starting to kill my Spore experience. Just over this weekend I couldn’t play Spore cause it “NEEDED INTERNET CONNECTION” for some bizarre reason. Sadly I go and buy another EA game at the end of the month, but I have to tell you I have no fear of stealing games from EA anymore cause paying for this crap is not worth it.

Over at Techdirt they have a fun little article on DRM with a rather poetic quote.

Money can’t buy you love, but love can bring you money. In software the only sustainable way to earn money is by first creating love, and then hoping that some folks want to demonstrate that love with their dollars….

I put my money in love, and DRM is clearly hate.

What does this awesome T-Shirt from Threadless T-Shirts mean to you? Does it mean SuperMan can not cook or use a microwave? Does it mean to you that the Microwave is too slow and would make a better chair?

I am in awe mostly cause the artist choose something about SuperMan I would never in a million years think of.

Mega Man Knit

With the weather getting colder you want to stay stylish and geeky even when you have to dress warm. Paul figured out a perfect way to celebrate the release of Mega Man 9, be stylish, geeky, and warm!

This might be the point where I learn to knit, or find someone I can ask to knit me an awesome Mega Man Helmet like this one!

Crazy Japanese Rubber Band Gun

Based on the idea of a gun from Metal Gear Solid 4 this crazy cool rubber band gun is solid stainless steal! Which gun this is based on I have no idea but it looks amazing. Watching the youtube video shows off the gun’s accuracy and other features such as a laser sight and a led light built in as well.

The first question that crossed my mind was “where can I buy this fine piece of bad ass fun?” and sadly it is a personally made item so far. The plans are not secret however if you wish to try and replicate it.
