Deep and Booming
Most people don’t know what they sound like or look like. I would like to say that I am someone who is comfortable with how I look and sound as I tend to record myself often. Though today I had an interesting experience as I started voice training with MacSpeech Dictate which is training the program to understand me. This sounds like it should be simple and as I started to read the endless sentences I soon got bored and really started to listen to how my voice sounded as it was the only noise that was being made in the room I currently was in. It was so deep and booming and nasely and as I was reading I was thinking is this really my voice? Of course it is, but even for me who hear my own voice played back to me often does not stop and actually listen to my own voice as I speak! How odd was that? On a side note I also figured out there is a handful of words that I have a hard time saying and it provided some nice moments of amusement.
In case you are wondering also, drinking and dictating does not work well.
